What is Collessence Collagen Complex by HSN?
Collessence Collagen Complex from EssentialSeries is a flavoured powdered food supplement based on hydrolysed collagen, inulin, magnesium, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid.
Collagen is a key structural protein in the body, found in the skin, bones, tendons, and cartilage. Its production decreases with age, affecting tissues. As a supplement, it is one of the most recognised and widely used compounds by people of all ages and sexes.
Collessence Collagen is the ideal choice for those looking for a collagen with magnesium, offering only the best in both flavour and composition.
Discover the ultimate version of our collagen with magnesium
A step beyond 'Hydrolysed Collagen + Magnesium 2.0 powder'
At HSN, we have been offering collagen and magnesium separately and in combination for years, check out our:
And all our magnesium options, here.
In addition to the product Hydrolysed Collagen + Magnesium 2.0 powder, which combines hydrolysed bovine collagen, magnesium citrate and vitamin C, our traditional formula.
Collessence Collagen has emerged as the ultimate, improved version of its predecessor: Hydrolysed Collagen with Magnesium from Essentials; featuring new and exotic flavours to create the best collagen drinks you can prepare at home, along with a more complete composition, without losing the essence of what an 'essential' is.
Enhanced formula with hyaluronic acid
The inclusion of hyaluronic acid in the formula follows a tradition and nutritional relevance. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide present in the skin, joints, and connective tissues. Its main biological function is water retention, providing tissue hydration.
Traditionally, hyaluronic acid has been used in combination with collagen and magnesium, based on feedback from our customers. We've collected all the input and transformed it into something practical and real: The new Collessence formula, now enriched with the best available hyaluronic acid, so you no longer need to take it separately, while maintaining the essence of the classic formula, designed to be simple and adaptable for all collagen use needs—perfect for combining with formulas targeting specific effects, such as the 'Care' products or the HSN 'Beauty' range.
Triple magnesium combo – Discover its forms
Ionic magnesium, as an element, cannot be used as a food nutrient on its own, which is why it is presented in the form of 'magnesium salts'. You've probably heard of citrate or bisglycinate, but if you're not sure which is better, the answer is simple: If the mineral salt has high bioavailability and the same amount of elemental magnesium, they are all equally effective, meaning their properties do not differ.
In Collessence Collagen Complex we use 3 different sources of magnesium to achieve the perfect balance between taste (some are more bitter, salty or neutral than others), optimal elemental content (some provide more magnesium per unit of salt), and bioavailability (all are efficiently absorbed).
Thanks to this, we get the best of each form, delivering 115mg of elemental magnesium per serving, from bisglycinate, malate, and citrate salts.
Delicious flavours for a more pleasant experience
Everyone who has taken collagen knows one thing for sure—and if you haven’t yet, we’ll confirm it for you: Collagen has a strong taste. And this is due to a non-negotiable process for absorption: Hydrolysis. This releases collagen peptides, causes the loss of its three-dimensional structure, and generates salt and bitterness, giving collagen its distinct taste.
We already excelled with our collagen + magnesium 2.0, receiving highly positive feedback, as our unique flavour development successfully masked collagen’s natural aftertaste, with options like watermelon.
With Collessence Collagen we've outdone ourselves again, achieving the best possible taste—not just with traditional aromas but also with exotic flavours. Enjoy the best collagen!
Why bovine collagen instead of marine?
Although it’s true that 'collagen is collagen', one reason certain collagen-based products have a particularly intense taste is their origin. Hydrolysed marine collagen develops a stronger flavour than bovine collagen, despite being functionally equivalent. Moreover, bovine tissue has lower exposure to contaminants compared to sea fish; hence, we choose bovine sources.
Additionally, Collessence Collagen Complex is completely suitable for individuals with allergies to fish, crustaceans, and molluscs, as it contains no marine allergens.
Unfortunately, it is not suitable for vegan diets, but no collagen product is, as collagen is an animal protein and is always extracted from animal sources. Vegan collagen does not exist, which is why we don’t produce or offer one with such claims.
What is your goal? Complement it with HSN formulas!
Collessence Collagen Complex is a 'base' formula, meaning that while it's not a 'RAW', it is a simple formula, making it very easy to complement with any other product that enhances its effects. We recommend two types of formulas for this:
Choose according to your goals and enjoy the highest quality with HSN.
