Evoendurance from SportSeries is a flavored powder nutritional supplement based on carbohydrates and minerals.
Evoendurance is an intra-workout drink formulated specifically to accompany athletic performance in demanding endurance sessions. Its exclusive combination of advanced carbohydrates and specific electrolytes is designed to provide energy, support hydration and assist muscle function during prolonged effort.
Light, sugar-free and with mild flavors, Evoendurance is the perfect choice for those looking to push their intra-workout nutrition a notch.
What is Evoendurance for?
Evoendurance is designed to be your ally during prolonged physical exercise, especially in endurance disciplines such as cycling, running, trail, triathlon or intense training sessions. Its main function is to provide energy during prolonged efforts, and to contribute to proper hydration and electrolyte replenishment, thanks to its content of carbohydrates and minerals.
Carbohydrates contribute to the normal muscle function recovery (contraction) after intense or long-lasting physical exercise that leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.2
Additionally, the magnesium provided by Evoendurance contributes to normal energy metabolism, to electrolyte balance and to normal muscle function, as well as to reducing tiredness and fatigue. The chloride, for its part, supports normal digestion through the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, an important aspect in rehydration and refueling around training.
Together, Evoendurance is more than a carbohydrate drink: it’s a formula developed to help your performance, optimize energy supply and protect your electrolyte balance during your toughest sessions.
Advanced composition for performance
Scientifically based selected ingredients
The Evoendurance formula has been designed with a precise selection of functional ingredients whose importance is supported by years of use in advanced sports nutrition with top-level athletes. It’s not a generic mix like you find in other commercial intra-workout drinks, but a strategic combination of technological carbohydrates and specific electrolytes, aimed at optimizing performance, absorption and tolerance during prolonged exercise.
Among the main ingredients are:
- Isomaltulose.
- Cyclic dextrin highly branched.
- Trehalose.
These carbohydrates are complemented with crystal fructose, which allows achieving an ideal glucose:fructose ratio (1:0,8) to maximize the oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates.
Additionally, Evoendurance incorporates essential electrolytes in functional doses:
- Sodium.
- Chloride.
- Magnesium in the form of malate, highly bioavailable.
Each ingredient has been chosen not only for its individual relevance, but for its ability to work in synergy within the Evoendurance whole, which we can assure is a 'no rival' match for endurance sport challenges.
International reference patents
One of Evoendurance’s greatest differentiating values is our commitment to premium raw materials, backed by patented technology and developed specifically for high-performance sports nutrition.
Palatinose™ (Isomaltulose): is a slow-release functional disaccharide, developed by Beneo GmbH, that provides stable and prolonged energy. Its molecular structure allows gradual absorption. Thanks to its low glycemic index and high digestive tolerance, it is an excellent carbohydrate for endurance sports where energy efficiency and stability are sought.
Cluster Dextrin™ (Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin): developed by Glico Nutrition, is a highly branched cyclic dextrin that stands out for its superior solubility and ultrafast gastric emptying. This enables an efficient energy supply even in high-intensity sessions, without causing digestive discomfort or heaviness. Its technical profile makes it one of the most advanced carbohydrates for intra-workout use, especially in prolonged activities or those with high physical demand.
enduracarb™ (Trehalose): is the patented form of trehalose developed by Nagase Viita Co., Ltd. This low glycemic index disaccharide combines excellent intestinal tolerance with a balanced energy release, ideal for long-duration efforts. Besides its functional value, it provides a natural, mild sweetness that improves the product’s organoleptic profile, avoiding the use of sweeteners. Evoendurance is the first HSN product to include this patent, marking a milestone in the formulation of next-generation technical beverages.
We chose these registered raw materials because they faithfully reflect values shared by our brand: trust in research, innovation and quality control. Thanks to the specific formulation we’ve developed, we can ensure that each Evoendurance drink meets the real needs of the most demanding athlete. Using these ingredients not only improves product quality, but reflects our commitment to excellence in formulating the most advanced E&D products.
A functional drink
Evoendurance isn’t just a carbohydrate drink; it’s an intra-workout drink developed with a clear purpose: to revolutionize peri-exercise nutrition.
Each component of the formula serves a specific function to support the athlete during prolonged effort: carbohydrates provide efficient energy; minerals help maintain electrolyte balance and muscle function (magnesium); and its light texture along with the sugar-free sweetness, guarantee an easy-to-consume experience, tested with our high-level athletes. All this in a concrete formula with a clear value proposition: real functionality, designed for true athletes.
Trehalose (enduracarb™): what it is and why we use it
Trehalose is a disaccharide made of two glucose molecules, known for its moderate glycemic profile, its excellent stability and its high digestive tolerance, even under prolonged effort. In Evoendurance we use a patented form of this carbohydrate: enduracarb™, developed specifically for applications in sports nutrition.
What makes trehalose special is its ability to release energy gradually, but only from glucose molecules (unlike isomaltulose). This translates into an improved intra-workout energy supply.
Additionally, trehalose provides a soft, natural sweetness, allowing the formula to be completely sugar-free. This not only improves Evoendurance’s organoleptic profile, but also makes it easier to take, without a dry mouth or cloying aftertaste.
Evoendurance is the first HSN product to include this patent, marking a before and after, not only in our intra-workout beverage category, but also in this kind of prepared beverages catalog, since we’re pioneers in using trehalose in sports drinks.
Glucose:fructose ratio 1:0,8 – What science says
The choice of the glucose:fructose ratio 1:0,8 in Evoendurance is not accidental: it’s supported by solid scientific evidence showing that this ratio allows maximizing absorption and utilization of carbohydrates during exercise.
During prolonged physical activity, the body uses carbohydrates consumed as an immediate energy source. However, the intestinal absorption of glucose is limited by the capacity of the SGLT1 transporter. By adding fructose, which is absorbed via the GLUT5 transporter, it is possible to use two distinct intestinal absorption pathways, significantly increasing the amount of carbohydrates the body can oxidize per hour (Jeukendrup, 2010).
A key study found that a glucose:fructose equivalent ratio of 1:0,8 resulted in the best oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates, as well as higher physical performance and less gastrointestinal discomfort compared with lower or higher ratios (O'Brien & Rowlands, 2011), from which a whole line of research supporting the use of this ratio in intra-workout drinks emerged, even catching the attention of Jeukendrup himself.
This combination, thanks to improved absorption, also enables a higher carbohydrate intake without compromising tolerance or digestive comfort, especially in longer duration activities.
Evoendurance vs other HSN intra-workout drinks
At HSN we have different carbohydrate and electrolyte drink formulations for exercise, each with a distinct functional focus. Evoendurance, Evotonic and Evocarbs share the goal of sustaining performance and supporting energy metabolism during physical effort, but their composition and aim show key differences.
- Evoendurance is designed for long endurance sessions or high energy demands. A preparation with more tonicity than Evotonic or Evocarbs 2.0.
- Evocarbs 2.0 is our on-the-road isotonic, all-terrain, ideal for shorter endurance sessions or specific lower needs.
- Evotonic is a version enriched with proteins and amino acids from Evocarbs 2.0, recommended as an isotonic for longer sessions, with higher heat or environmental humidity.
The ideal choice will depend on the type of session, duration and your goal. None is better than another on its own; they offer different properties for specific needs depending on your discipline and requirements.
How to use Evoendurance? Peri-workout protocol
Before training
Before training, one of the best nutritional strategies is to use a complete pre-workout such as Evordx 2.0, designed to optimize performance from the first minutes of the session. Evordx is ideal to prep the body for the session thanks to ingredients like caffeine, beta-alanine, citrulline and nitrates.
During training
During training, Evoendurance unleashes its full potential as an intra-workout drink designed to promote effective hydration, maintain electrolyte balance and provide energy.
After training
After training, Evorecovery is the key tool to optimize recovery after intense sessions. Its formula combines carbohydrates with high-value proteins, plus a varied mix of electrolytes, being the post-workout all-in-one for athletes seeking efficient and fast recovery, with a quality formula.
Who can benefit from Evoendurance?
Evoendurance is designed to be a versatile intra-workout in sport, so it can be used by any athlete looking to optimize energy supply and hydration during exercise. Its formula is especially beneficial in endurance disciplines, such as cycling, running, triathlon, trail or swimming, where replenishing energy and electrolytes is key to sustaining physical effort.
Nevertheless, it’s also an excellent option in strength-endurance, cross-training, combat sports (like martial arts or boxing) and team sports (soccer, basketball, hockey, etc.), where prolonged trainings, double sessions or intense games require proper energy support to maintain the level.
