A “full-stack” formula for a multi-action pre-workout
Concentrated and standardized beetroot
Beetroot extract is a super popular ingredient in modern pre-workouts thanks to its nitrate content. In Evordx, we’ve used its concentrated (extract) and standardized form to guarantee a 10% nitrate content.
Double citrulline: citrulline-malate + pure citrulline
Evordx 2.0 combines L-citrulline-DL-malate with L-citrulline from plant fermentation. The idea? A full approach to one of the most used amino acids in quality pre-workout formulas.
AAKG and norvaline: the “fresh” twist on the classic pre-workout
L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) and L-norvaline aren’t usual in classic pre-workouts, but at HSN we wanted to upgrade Evordx’s formula based on feedback from tens of thousands of athletes over the years, going beyond just caffeine and other stimulants, adding more value with a wider variety of compounds.
Awesome flavors: you’ll want to repeat
Enjoy the delicious flavors of Evordx 2.0, with options for every taste—from fruity profiles (the classic) to iced tea or cola flavors. What are your favorites?

Creatine and caffeine: get amazed by their benefits
In Evordx 2.0, two of the most recognizable pre-workout stars are creatine and caffeine. Don’t miss what they bring to the table:
- Creatine improves physical performance in successive short bouts of high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3g of creatine. Specific target group: This claim is aimed at adults performing high-intensity exercise.
- Daily creatine intake can enhance the effect of resistance training on muscle strength in adults over 55 years old. This claim targets adults over 55 who regularly do resistance training. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3g of creatine combined with resistance training, allowing an increase in workload over time, performed at least three times a week for several weeks, at an intensity of at least 65% - 75% of one repetition maximum. Specific target group: adults over 55 who regularly do resistance training.
- Caffeine helps increase alertness. At least 75 mg of caffeine per serving.
- Caffeine helps improve concentration. At least 75 mg of caffeine per serving.
- Caffeine contributes to increased endurance capacity. Caffeine should be consumed at doses of 3 mg/kg of body weight one hour before exercise. Target group: adults performing endurance exercise.
How to fit it into your peri-workout routine
Before training: find your “window”
If you use it as a stimulant pre-workout, the key is to take it with enough time so caffeine’s nutritional effects match your start time: ideally 45-60 minutes before training for the best feel.
If you train fasted
Training right after waking up? Keep it simple: water and pre-workout, then you can have breakfast after training. Taking Evordx 2.0 on an empty stomach speeds up absorption; if you feel too wired when taking it fasted, pair it with something light (like a piece of fruit or a simple carb source).
If you train in the afternoon or evening
With caffeine, timing matters. If you’re sensitive to stimulants, avoid taking it close to bedtime and leave a good gap (usually 4-6 hours) to protect your rest. Your recovery trains too.
If it’s your first time
Even though Evordx 2.0’s dose is balanced and functional, start gradually with half the recommended dose and check your tolerance: energy, feelings, digestive comfort, and sleep quality. If you’re not used to stimulant pre-workouts, energy drinks, or are a big coffee drinker, starting low and going slow is a smart move to avoid being wired all night if you’re sensitive and don’t know it yet.
Pro tip: save Evordx 2.0 for key training days (brand tests, leg sessions, important WODs like Murphs, or long endurance runs). It’s perfect for days when you’ve slept a bit less or your routine has been a bit overwhelming.
How to make the most of it in different training types
Evordx 2.0 is aimed at those who want a stimulant pre-workout for sessions where mental and physical components need to be on point.
- In strength and hypertrophy training: perfect for heavy sessions, days when hitting the gym feels tough, or demanding volume blocks.
- In HIIT / functional training: useful when you want that “spark” and to stay locked in during the session.
- In endurance training: fits if your strategy includes caffeine, especially in key sessions.
Q&A: common questions about stimulant pre-workouts
Can I take it if I train late?
You can… but the key is your caffeine tolerance and how close it is to bedtime. If it affects your sleep, space it out more from the end of the day or save it for morning/noon workouts.
Can I have coffee or other caffeine sources if I’m already using Evordx 2.0?
If you’re already having coffee, energy drinks, or other sources, consider your total daily intake and how it feels. With stimulants, “more” isn’t always “better”: find the sweet spot where you train well and sleep well.
What if it makes me jittery or feels too strong?
Lower the Evordx 2.0 dose, and if you’re taking it fasted, try a small food accompaniment. Tolerance is personal and adjusts with habit. At HSN, we also have stimulant-free pre-workout options.
When does it make the most sense to use it?
When you want to squeeze the most out of your session: heavy days, key workouts, tough weeks, or low-energy moments. On easy days, you might not need it, though it depends on your plan, and many athletes include pre-workouts in all sessions (with rest weeks after some time, or even skipping them).
