I've just been experimenting with type II collagen without the fantastic composition of another HSN product for joints, Joint Care. Apparently it's working to minimize pain and increase knee mobility, because when I stopped using the other product after a week the difficulties returned. I think this one is a bit expensive for the amount I'm using. But it seems to be effective.
