It does not taste as sweet as sweetened. Obviously. However, if you have ever tried neutral, unflavored whey, dont think of it like this. The neutral stuff made me literally gag numerous times. I bought vanilla and chocolate from this product and i have to say that if you were to shake this up I would like to consume this and not gag it down like the unflavored stuff. I find vanilla better tbh.
