After a year of using it daily along with creatine I can say that its effects are noticeable by raising your carnosine levels in the muscle, I think it gives you a couple more reps before reaching failure, it does not do magic but it is a help, for me it is an indispensable like creatine. The taste is neutral, you don't notice anything since you only take 3 or 4 grams.
