Too dense
I am used to buying Whey protein, which has a light texture and is easy to digest. I decided to try this pea protein supplement (vanilla flavor), the truth is that the flavor itself is very successful, but the texture is excessively dense, so it requires a significant amount of water to dissolve properly. Even so, the texture is not similar to Whey Protein, it is somewhat more lumpy. A point in favor is that it is very satiating, I drank the shake early in the afternoon, and I had no appetite again for the next 5-6 hours. In conclusion, if you are not used to vegetable protein supplements, it will be a great contrast to Whey Protein.
Estoy acostumbrado a comprar proteina Whey, la cual tiene una textura ligera y fácil de digerir. Decidí probar con este suplemento de proteína de guisante (sabor vainilla), lo cierto es que el sabor en sí está muy conseguido, pero la textura es excesivamente densa, por lo que requiere de una cantidad importante de agua para poder disolverse correctamente. Aun así la textura no es similar a la Whey Protein, es algo más grumosa.
Un punto a favor es que es muy saciante, me tomé el batido a primera hora de la tarde, y no volví a tener apetito durante las 5-6 horas siguientes.
En conclusión, si no estás habituado a los suplementos de proteínas vegetales, va a suponer un gran contraste respecto al Whey Protein.
