When talking about ferments, we find a differential consideration compared to other products, and that is as we know their biological activity, and therefore their direct effectiveness, in relation to it; the mass (the milligrams) of product is not a legitimately relevant measurement, as it is with practically any other product.

Ferments grow and proliferate in controlled environments, and after researching scientific literature and discussing with biochemists specialized in the field, we understood that the way in which most specialists develop ferments is the most conducive to their proliferation, as it is the easiest way, and most straightforward to achieve a large amount of CFU without large investments, for this they prepare optimal media, with controlled temperature, in which bacteria develop, and that's why almost all ferments need to be stored in the fridge.

Ferments, although in our specific selection we do not find this problem, are extremely unstable elements that require very specific conditions for their correct preservation and survival. In our case, this does not happen since the unfavorable cultivation conditions favor only the viability of the most capable bacteria, and they resist to a greater degree the environmental exposure compared to other ferments on the market.

Resistant ferments - Stay alive without a fridge
Ferments, for the convenience of their manufacturers, are developed in controlled environments, ideal for their massive proliferation, without any challenge and interference; that's why many of the ferments manufactured on the market are really cheap to produce.

100B CFU - When to use it and how to combine it with 25B
At HSN you have different ferment formulas with bacteria combined with specific approaches for different goals, and in all of them, you will find two different dosages based on the amount of Colony Forming Units that make up their composition.
In this case, the product you are reading about is GI Biotics 100B CFU, this presentation is intended for use in key moments, where you need the most ferment support possible, hence we recommend using the 100B version when you need it most, but if your goal is simply support and maintenance through the contribution of ferments, in the long term, the 25B CFU presentation is sufficient and appropriate.
One of the most common ways to use the two presentations in combination is as follows:
After a period where you have spent time damaging your bacterial flora for some reason, and you are looking for extra ferment support, you can start with the 100B presentation, which provides 60 vegetable gastric-resistant capsules with 100 billion viable ferment units in each of them, you only need 1 capsule a day, so the package will last you 2 months.
Once finished, you can continue with the 25B CFU presentation, for 4 more months (corresponding to the 120 veg caps presentation, and the consumption pattern of one capsule a day).
After half a year using GI Biotics, you can, depending on your needs:
- Repeat the cycle of 60 days with 100B CFU + 120 days with 25B CFU.
