High-protein chicken broth powder
Protein-rich chicken broth powder from FoodSeries is a powdered preparation made from chicken protein powder, hydrolysed bovine collagen, and nutritional yeast. A simple yet perfect combination of ingredients to achieve the best flavour, making it a staple in your kitchen.
HSN’s chicken broth powder is high in protein as it contains collagen and authentic chicken protein, and is also a powerhouse of micronutrients, with a wide range of B vitamins, vitamin D, and important minerals such as calcium, potassium, and zinc, derived from the fermentation medium of the nutritional yeast in the recipe.
HSN's protein-rich chicken broth is made exclusively with natural ingredients, the best choice for your daily diet.
A unique format for your new favourite ingredient
Familiar with poultry broth cubes? Discover the Fit version!
Our mothers have taught us that to enhance broths and soups, even when boiling pasta or preparing rice, there are concentrated broth cubes available in supermarkets that greatly improve the flavour of these recipes.
However, nutritionists and educators worldwide have explained that although this option is a good culinary resource, it is not nutritionally beneficial, as the ingredients used are of very poor quality, mostly artificial, and loaded with flavour enhancers such as monosodium glutamate, which is generally discouraged in daily diets.
HSN’s protein-rich chicken broth powder serves the same purpose as regular broth cubes but is made exclusively from natural ingredients of high nutritional quality.
Add it to boiling water while cooking pasta or rice, as well as in stews, meats, vegetable creams, or soups; it’s an excellent umami flavour enhancer for your dishes.
With authentic natural chicken protein
When preparing our chicken broth powder, we were committed to using protein from real chicken meat.
This is the ideal way to:
- Achieve an authentic chicken broth flavour without adding artificial aromas or compounds.
- Maintain the initial premise of using the best ingredients.
- Provide a high-quality protein content, with a high biological value and a complete amino acid profile.
Therefore, we do not use chicken protein from connective tissues, bones, or other low-quality sources, but from real chicken meat, to achieve optimal protein quality in the chicken broth powder, which is set to become one of your favourite ingredients.
Enriched with inactive nutritional yeast for an intense flavour
Nutritional yeast, derived from the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae, greatly enhances the flavour intensity of HSN’s chicken broth powder.
Inactive yeast has a strong umami flavour, often compared to mature cheese; not because it tastes like 'cheese,' but because cheese is a great representative of umami flavour, just as chilli represents spiciness, or sugar represents sweetness.
Nutritional yeast, along with foods like dried tuna or mushrooms, is among the best representatives of this flavour in food.
By adding nutritional yeast to the protein-rich chicken broth from the FoodSeries range, we’ve not only enhanced the flavour but also enriched its nutritional value by naturally adding vitamins and minerals (naturally present in the yeast from its enrichment medium).
Rich in micronutrients - Ideal for enriching your recipes
Nutritional yeast is a super concentrated food packed with micronutrients, such as B vitamins and vitamin D, as well as various minerals.
This is because the medium in which the yeast is grown is enriched to ensure it develops a high natural content of these essential nutrients for human nutrition.
Thanks to this, HSN’s protein-rich chicken broth powder is a vitamin and mineral powerhouse, perfect for enriching your diet, especially if it’s not very rich in foods with a high content of these vitamins, such as vegetables.
Non-GMO - Superior quality chicken meat
Regarding the GMO-free status, our chicken broth powder is free from any ingredients treated with genetically modified organisms.
This is important because nutritional yeast is often grown in GMO environments to achieve faster and more profitable results for the companies that develop it, but we prefer to follow natural cultivation processes to achieve the best results without GMOs.
The same goes for the chicken meat from which our protein is sourced; it is completely GMO-free, respecting the bird’s natural lifestyle, and not relying on fattening or confinement. We uphold the principles of free-range farming to ensure not only the best nutritional quality but also the highest sustainability.
Featuring Engevita® - High-quality inactive yeast
Nutritional yeast has a strong characteristic flavour that perfectly complements our product and boasts significant nutritional richness.

It’s Engevita®, developed by the Lallemand group, one of the world’s most recognised patents, thanks to its protected cultivation process, ensuring the best nutritional results, without the use of additives or coadjuvants that would affect its 'Clean labelling'.
Incredible intensely Umami flavour
The most unknown of all flavours is undoubtedly umami.
Umami is defined as:
One of the five basic tastes humans can perceive, along with sweet, salty, bitter, and sour. It commonly describes a deep and satisfying taste found in protein-rich foods.
The word 'umami' comes from Japanese and can be roughly translated as 'savoury' or 'delicious'. It was first identified by Japanese scientist Kikunae Ikeda in 1908, who discovered that glutamate, an amino acid present in many foods, is the main contributor to this taste, along with nucleotides (inosinate and guanylate), which also contribute to its development.
HSN’s protein-rich chicken broth has an intensely umami flavour, ideal for boiling pasta and rice, as a starter to accompany meats or fish, or for making stews, creams, or ramen.
All this with the best nutritional quality, a high protein content, and without flavour enhancers or monosodium glutamate.
High-quality protein content - Ideal for sauces and creams
Many recipes can benefit from adding protein-rich chicken broth powder, and this is especially true for sauces, creams, and soups.
These preparations are typically low in protein and benefit from the umami flavour to stand out.
The chicken broth powder enhances the flavour of recipes, and can be used as a base for making ramen or simply a noodle soup; it can be added to vegetable purées and creams for a unique and more intense flavour that makes them stand out as a starter; or in meat sauces, like pepper sauce or cheese sauce. It’s amazing.
Additionally, it nutritionally enriches the recipe, not only by adding a significant amount of micronutrients but also by providing a high content of high biological value protein from chicken meat, along with hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides.
Easier to store because it doesn’t 'spoil'
A final point to consider is that HSN’s broth, unlike other commercial broths, has a long shelf life and doesn’t require refrigeration.
Often, a carton of chicken broth, despite being full of additives to keep it in good condition, needs to be consumed within a couple of weeks once opened and stored in the fridge. This limits its use, as it must be consumed quickly before it spoils.
This is not the case with HSN’s broth, which, being dehydrated in powder form, doesn’t require refrigeration and has a much longer shelf life, even once opened, without the need for additives.
A more convenient way to enjoy your protein-rich broth without worrying as much about storage.
How to use it - It couldn't be easier!
The way to use the broth is very versatile, as it mixes quickly and evenly in liquid at any temperature.
For example, if you want to use it as an umami flavour enhancer for your recipes, you can add it directly during cooking, just as you would with a traditional chicken broth cube. The amount varies depending on the intensity of flavour you want, but around 15g per 300ml is appropriate.
You can also add it directly to hot water in the pot to quickly prepare a protein-rich chicken broth, to which you can then add pasta and let it boil for a delicious and light soup.
If you want to make a more potent base, you can mix two scoops in 250ml of water with soy sauce, sesame oil, and miso paste to create an incredibly delicious oriental-style broth to which you can add dried seaweed, mushrooms, meats, eggs, pasta, and whatever you like.
And finally, you can also mix it in cold water and use it as part of the liquid after toasting a risotto, or for simmering a stew.
