We've developed an unsweetened version of Evolate, why?
You, our customers, have motivated us to develop this unsweetened version. Usually, any protein powder user chooses one of the following options:
- Evolate 2.0, if they want a WPI with flavour.
- 100% Whey Protein Isolate, if they prefer it unflavoured; to which they can add Flavour Powder for milk proteins, if they want to adjust its taste.
However, we found a need that you communicated to us: you were looking for Evolate, an option with flavour, but either our flavours seemed too sweet to you (for people used to drinking their coffee without sweeteners, and eating with the natural sweetness of foods, without adding anything), or you were looking, for any other reason, for an option that had flavour, but a natural flavour, the one from the ingredients themselves, from the purest root of real food, without having its natural taste modified with sweeteners or adjusted with non-natural aromas.
Say no more, a need = a solution. We present Evolate 2.0 Unsweetened for all of you.
Flavoured with natural ingredients - No artificial aromas
As mentioned earlier, the balanced flavour of our unsweetened Evolate comes from natural ingredients; for example, in the case of chocolate flavour, it is natural cocoa.
We only use the best possible ingredients, for cocoa, we use a defatted version, so as not to interfere with the use of Evolate 2.0 in definition, increasing its fat content unnecessarily. Additionally, we use non-alkalised cocoa.
Alkalisation of cocoa is a process through which the cocoa beans are 'washed' with an alkaline solution, to remove their natural acidity, however, this results in treated cocoa, with less flavour and a darker colour due to the oxidation of its natural polyphenols. In short, non-alkalised cocoa is the true 'natural cocoa'.
We make our chocolate flavour with real non-alkalised defatted cocoa, the best way to achieve an intense natural chocolate flavour, without adding artificial aromas to emulate it. The natural flavour, without sweeteners, from the source: real cocoa.
