Spot-on orange sponge cake flavour, a bit runny but tasty.
The chocolate and orange combination is spot on and brings to mind classic chocolate-orange sponge biscuits. Using pure defatted cocoa avoids the metallic aftertaste you get with other zero-calorie syrups. As with most calorie-free syrups, the texture is a little runnier and less thick than a traditional syrup, but it’s great for livening up porridge, pancakes or yoghurt without adding calories.
La combinación de chocolate y naranja está muy conseguida y recuerda a las clásicas galletas de bizcocho. Al usar cacao desgrasado puro evita ese regusto metálico de otros siropes zero. Como ocurre con casi todos los siropes sin calorías, la textura es algo más fluida y menos densa que la de uno tradicional, pero para darle vida a avenas, tortitas o yogur cumple con nota sin sumar calorías.
