Ingredients
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), vegetable capsule [glazing agent (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose)], maize starch, anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide), D-alpha-tocopheryl acid succinate (natural vitamin E).

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) 500mg by EssentialSeries is a food supplement in vegetable capsules made from Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) and vitamin E.
Alpha-lipoic acid can also be found as lipoic acid or thioctic acid, referred to in IUPAC nomenclature as 5-(dithiolane-3-yl)pentanoic acid.
Alpha-lipoic acid isn't derived from animal sources, so it is 100% suitable for vegan diets.
“Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a naturally occurring micronutrient, and is synthesised in small amounts by plants and animals (including humans) [...] It can be found in foods such as offal, spinach, broccoli, peas, Brussels sprouts and rice bran (in small amounts).” (NCIt, 2020).
The ALA formula by HSN has been supplemented with a high amount of natural vitamin E in the form of D-Alpha-Tocopheryl acid succinate.
The alpha-lipoic acid used in the development of this product has been produced under the strictest standards and quality controls, and has all the certificates of analysis and determination of the product's content. This guarantees its purity and concentration.

Alpha-lipoic acid is a 50/50% racemic mixture of the R-/S- enantiomer of alpha-lipoic acid.

The price/quantity ratio is good considering that it is an expensive product. The problem I see is the concentration that brings, for me it is too much, sometimes I repeated, even taking it with food and generally produces a fairly strong odor in the urine, which did not happen taking capsules of 200mg.
