D-alpha-tocopherol is the bioavailable alpha form of oral fat-soluble natural vitamin E (NCIt, s.f.)
The natural vitamin E 400IU product comes in an oil medium, because as a fat-soluble vitamin it's best to combine it with a small amount of oil (Reboul, 2017).
Natural vitamin E is a fat-soluble and nutritionally indispensable vitamin – as our body can't synthesise it by itself, it must be provided through the diet.
The vitamin E we can find in nature comes in eight different chemical forms, which are used in the production of products based on vitamins and minerals:

I took it for a while
When taking omega 3 already comes with vitamin E so I stopped taking it. I started it for the vascular benefits. Over a period of time it should be noticeable. However, you should not exceed the dose because it is fat-soluble, and that means that in case of excess it accumulates in different tissues. Keep this in mind.
