Glucosamine HCl - 1000mg in the most concentrated form
Glucosamine HCl 1000mg from EssentialSeries is a dietary supplement from HSN made from pure glucosamine hydrochloride, in film-free tablets for optimal dispersion and the most concentrated nutrient supply in its formula.
Glucosamine hydrochloride is one of the most common forms of this amino sugar, as it is the original form from natural sources it comes from, like in this case, from crustacean shells. Also, hydrochloride is one of the most concentrated forms (if not the most) of D-Glucosamine you can find.
Provides more than 830 mg of pure stable high-concentration D-Glucosamine with HSN’s Glucosamine HCl.
The purest glucosamine supplement in tablets
Provides pure D-Glucosamine. The naturally occurring form of glucosamine
Glucosamine is an amino sugar, so for it to be effective it must have a specific chiral configuration.
According to scientific research to date, the Dextro- (D-) structure is responsible for glucosamine’s nutritional properties.
Other companies offer glucosamine without specifying the isomeric configuration, which means it could partially contain L-glucosamine, thus not being pure D-Glucosamine, which negatively affects the product’s quality and effectiveness.
At HSN we sell pure D-Glucosamine as hydrochloride, the most effective glucosamine form in a high-concentration base complex.
Origin: Crustaceans. Raw material certified free of marine contaminants
Glucosamine is traditionally obtained from marine sources, unlike our glucosamine sulfate which comes from plant sources via fermentation, making it allergen-free and suitable for vegan diets.
The chosen source for our glucosamine HCl is crustaceans, as their hydrolyzed exoskeleton is naturally very rich in this compound.
Simply put, to get good quality raw material from this source, glucosamine must be properly treated beforehand to avoid any residual contaminants. Our glucosamine HCl is obtained from crustacean shells raised in controlled saltwater environments free of natural sea residues and heavy metals.
The raw material has been molecularly treated to rule out any contaminants and is certified by HSN as 100% pure and residue-free in its composition.
High-concentration tablet formula - 1 gram of glucosamine HCl per unit
HSN’s glucosamine HCl comes in tablet form.
Each tablet provides one gram of pure glucosamine hydrochloride, a perfect dose to fully benefit from the nutritional features of the high glucosamine base content it offers.
Considering the full glucosamine hydrochloride dose in each tablet, its glucosamine base content is 830.9 mg per unit.
This high concentration is achieved thanks to thorough and meticulous control of the particle size of raw materials used in developing our tablet supplements, and our glucosamine hydrochloride is no exception.
Complete formula with vitamin C and manganese in high-quality nutritional forms
If you want a purely single-ingredient supplement containing only glucosamine, you can go for our Glucosamine Sulfate from the RawSeries brand by HSN, developed without additives or extra ingredients.
In our glucosamine hydrochloride tablet formula, we wanted to improve the composition by not just providing glucosamine alone, but promoting and making it easier to consume micronutrients that synergize with the nutritional properties of the purest glucosamine in HCl form.
You’ll find vitamin C in the formula, a significant source providing 30% of daily needs in pure form (ascorbic acid).
And a high concentration of manganese citrate, a highly bioavailable mineral salt of the important trace element manganese, providing 1 mg elemental per tablet: half of daily needs.

Film-free tablets. They disperse faster and absorb efficiently
Our glucosamine HCl tablets have no coatings or covers that affect dispersion time in the digestive tract or the absorption speed of the nutrients inside.
Thanks to compression techniques optimized by our Research and Development team, the compounds in glucosamine hydrochloride are released quickly without any loss of absorption of any compound it contains.
Glucosamine free from genetically modified organisms. 100% GMO-Free
Glucosamine is usually obtained from hydrolyzed exoskeletons of crustaceans and shellfish, and is processed so the final product ends up containing Genetically Modified Organisms.
At HSN we reject this because GMOs may have health risks, which, although not yet clear and seemingly safe at first glance, many food safety experts still question how suitable these compounds are for daily consumption.
Also, Genetically Modified Organisms pose a threat to the ecosystem where the animals providing glucosamine live, so:
At HSN we do not use Genetically Modified Organisms in this or any other dietary supplement.
The most concentrated D-Glucosamine form: Hydrochloride
Glucosamine comes in complex forms, which ensure stability and proper absorption of this important amino sugar; free base glucosamine itself is not used in supplements because it’s unstable and needs to be paired with a balancing compound.
The two most common forms are hydrochloride (hydrochloride) or sulfate.
Sulfate is the most studied form, but there’s no more concentrated form than hydrochloride, as this complex provides 83% of its content as D-Glucosamine base.

What properties can you expect from this product?
Glucosamine HCl has important properties in HSN’s particular formula, derived from the micronutrients it provides, which is why it’s so popular among athletes and older adults.
Thanks to its vitamin C content, it contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones. Also, it’s important for structures like ligaments and tendons since manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation.
What other supplements can I combine it with?
Glucosamine is a very combinable compound with other supplements, and in its hydrochloride (HCl) form it’s often used together with chondroitin and MSM.
You can find all 3 compounds combined in our own formula Evoflex.
Don’t forget to combine it with Ultra Hydrolyzed Collagen Complex!
