L-phenylalanine is an aromatic amino acid, essential amino acid group, or nutritionally indispensable, i.e. those that must be provided through the diet.

Many phenylalanine products on the market contain a racemic mixture of dextro- and levo-amino acid enantiomers, i.e. they are not pure L-phenylalanine, but DL-phenylalanine.
This form of phenylalanine is different, as the natural form of amino acids is always L-isomerism; our body's proteins are composed almost exclusively of L-amino acids (Novotny and Kleywegt, 2005).
This is why we have selected this form for the production of our product, in order to achieve the highest possible availability, because we are always looking for the highest quality.
