Evoclear Gainer is the lightest mass gainer
Evoclear Gainer from SportSeries is a flavored food preparation based on carbohydrates, whey protein isolate, enzyme complex intended for nutrition, and magnesium, with sugars and sweetener.
Evoclear Gainer is born as the new development from HSN in the mass gainer category, following the line of Evomass 2.0 and Evomass Vegan, which are our more traditional formulas. Evoclear Gainer has been formulated as a lighter and smoother version, perfect for those who feel the 'heaviness' of using a traditional mass gainer.
Evoclear Gainer is also gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians since it only contains whey protein.
How can a gainer be light? We’ll tell you!
Smooth consistency thanks to the absence of starchy carbohydrates
One of the main reasons why Evoclear Gainer is a 'clear' mass gainer, much smoother and lighter, is because instead of using flours, the classic and traditional source of carbohydrates in a mass gainer, we’ve used complex non-starchy carbohydrate sources, combined with simpler carbohydrate options that have less impact on the drink’s density.
Thanks to this, you won’t experience the thick shake typical of combining dairy proteins and flours like oat flour, something very common in mass gainers, both commercial and homemade.
The shake from Evoclear Gainer resembles a commercial fruit juice with some thickness, like peach juice, or light juice + milk drinks, where the milky consistency, although present, isn’t noticeable but perceived as juice—that’s the result of Evoclear Gainer.
Heads up! Evoclear Gainer is not made with Evoclear Hydro, and its shake isn’t that transparent, since due to the higher percentage of solutes to make a 'gainer' and not just a 'protein,' such a watery result isn’t achievable.
Light in texture, but packed with calories! A true gainer
As a mass gainer, Evoclear Gainer hasn’t given up its identity just to be lighter.
The consistency is light, yes, but not by cutting down on energy or other nutrients in its formula, but by our R&D team’s specific selection of the best options to keep the gainer powerful while reducing the drink’s density impact.
Here’s a comparison table of calories, carbohydrates, and proteins of the 3 mass gainers available at HSN. As you can see, Evoclear Gainer, despite being lighter, doesn’t fall behind:
| | Evomass 2.0 | Evoclear Gainer | Evomass Vegan |
| Kilocalories | 378 | 360 | 382 |
| Carbohydrates | 61g | 62g | 51g |
| Proteins | 27g | 27g | 36g |
With 27g of quality protein in every serving
We’ve used whey protein isolate (100% WPI) as the raw material through which Evoclear Gainer delivers its proteins. This is the same raw material we use for our Evolate 2.0, one of the most premium and best-selling proteins on our site, and as a source, it’s one of the most widely used proteins worldwide, no matter the brand.
That’s why each serving of Evoclear Gainer provides a significant and relevant amount of quality protein, with a complete amino acid profile without needing to add amino acids to its composition, just thanks to the quality of the protein used. This protein contribution is important to help you gain muscle mass during your weight gain process.
Formula completed with magnesium and DigeZyme®
Evoclear Gainer contains magnesium, an important electrolyte involved in many biological processes in the body, which when used in significant amounts (like those provided by this gainer) helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and contributes to normal neuromuscular function.
Also, to round out the formula, we’ve added DigeZyme®:

DigeZyme® is a patent from Sabinsa that provides a broad spectrum of enzymes intended for nutrition, ideal to perfectly complement the carbohydrate and protein supply of Evoclear Gainer:

2:1 Glucose:Fructose, what is it and why?
Carbohydrates are usually polymers (chains of several monomers) of glucose and/or fructose, with few exceptions.
There’s plenty of scientific literature evaluating the impact of the ratio between these two monosaccharides on absorption, with A. Jeukendrup and his work being the leading example of scientific research in this area. When carb intake becomes large, and these come from simple or modified complex sources to raise their glycemic index (like maltodextrin), the glucose-to-fructose ratio becomes more critical.
We developed Evoclear Gainer with a 2:1 Glucose:Fructose ratio, the one Jeukendrup considered optimal for intestinal absorption of ultra-concentrated carbohydrate sources.
Balanced flavors - Say goodbye to super sweet gainers
One common issue with mass gainers is that due to the large amount of ingredients used, their flavors are very intense, with many aromas in variety and quantity and lots of sweeteners. We took a different approach with Evoclear Gainer.
We used the mildest flavor ingredients possible, balancing the sweetness from simpler carbs with the amount of sweetener used, and gently flavoring our product. The result?
A gainer light in every way, with balanced flavors, just the right sweetness, tasty but not cloying, and without a heavy aroma. The perfect way to enjoy it is mixing the product in half a liter of water. Want it stronger? Use less water; prefer it lighter? Dilute it more.
Gentle on digestion thanks to its 'clear' consistency
Another common issue with classic gainers is that due to their high nutrient concentration and thicker consistency, they feel heavy. Drinking a traditional mass gainer shake fills you up a lot, which isn’t what you want when taking a gainer.
Thanks to the 'clear' texture of the shake, Evoclear Gainer feels smoother and fits your usual meal routine. You can add it between meals like a regular protein shake; it’s not heavy and is easier to include in your diet without making you feel full.
An expert tip for preparing it
Evoclear Gainer can foam if shaken vigorously in a shaker because the interaction between protein and carbs traps air.
This foam disappears if you let the mix rest after preparing it, but you can easily avoid it by stirring with a whisk instead, since Evoclear Gainer has excellent mixing ability, doesn’t clump, and this way you aerate the mix less, significantly reducing foam formation.
Tips to make the gainer more complete
Indeed, nutritionally Evoclear Gainer is complete, you don’t need to add proteins, amino acids, or similar compounds, but if you want to make it more complete, you can add Creatine Monohydrate to the shake.
Also, Evoclear Gainer contains less than 1g of fat. If you want to make the gainer more caloric, you can add a fat source. Due to the gainer’s consistency, unlike others, nut butters don’t work well; it’s better to add Keto Octane, making an even more powerful mass gainer with as much MCT fat content as you want to use.
