Ingredients
S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe), anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, magnesium trisilicate), vegetable capsule [glazing agent (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose)], choline bitartrate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), maltodextrin, cupric gluconate, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12).

SAMe 200mg by EssentialSeries is a food supplement in vegetable capsules based on S-adenosyl-L-methionine, choline bitartrate, vitamin C, vitamin B12 and copper.
SAMe is the amino acid L-methionine bound to a nucleoside.
This product has been developed by using glazing agents to protect the compound, using the patented DRCaps®, as SAMe is particularly sensitive to changes in pH. The capsules contain no ingredients of animal origin in their composition.
SAMe 200mg is 100% suitable for use in vegetarian and vegan diets.

SAMe is a compound that is very sensitive to degradation by environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and pH of the medium.
Encapsulating the product allows it to be protected from these exogenous aggressions that can have a direct and negative impact on its quality.
The capsules used are Lonza's famous DRCaps®, vegetable capsules, made with a vegan glazing agent, which not only protect SAMe from environmental conditions, but also protect its passage through the acidic environment of the stomach so that it does not reach the inside of the capsule and thus protect its contents.
The capsules are produced without the use of animal-based gelatine, but with a plant-based polymer that allows the product to be vegan.
SAMe in its native form degrades so rapidly that its use is unfeasible. Therefore, means of producing the stabilised compound have been developed.
